Our Mission
Food can connect geography and culture between the countries. Food is linked to the culture of community and it is very important in hospitality.The promotion of Nepali cuisine, which is being initiated by Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN), is getting recognition at the international level. Along with this, restaurants around the world will also have Nepali dishes on their menu. So Nepalese have been running Nepali restaurants all over the world, there was a compulsion to call dal-bhat and roti as Nepali food. 35 to 40 percent of tourists coming to Nepal spend their budget on food

My wife and I had a truly beautiful experience learning to cook with Narbu & Raman in a very homely atmosphere. They were able to adapt to our vegan requirements meanwhile they were very welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived and were ever so patient as we stumbled through making momos. I love that so much of the food is straight from their garden!
Now we're eager to get home and attempt to recreate what we learned with them and show off our new skills.
This is a must do when visiting Pokhara !

It’s the people who make Nepal so special .. and this place truly reflects just that. Narbu and Ma(Ramana) made me feel at home. I stayed for 2-months while volunteering in Pokhara. It was a lovely place to spend my spare time.
ACCOMMODATION: The room with en-suite shower room, external to the main living area was clean and light with hot water. It was very peaceful and I woke to the birds singing in the garden every morning.
COOKING CLASS: It was my birthday during my stay and they treated me to a mo mo cooking class with a couple of friends. All ingredients come from the garden or local market. It was lots of fun. I would highly recommend.
FOOD: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are available, whether you are staying or just popping in for food. The food is freshly prepared in the kitchen/living space where you will sit and enjoy it. Again everything is from the garden or local market and it was a very good price. The flexibility on time’s and the variety of food produced was amazing.Thank you both once again for making my stay in Pokhara so special :)

We came for a cooking class, but it turned out to be so much more than that. What started as an afternoon of learning how to cook Nepali dishes became a truly memorable experience filled with great conversations and warm hospitality.
Nabru and Ramana shared touching stories about their lives, which gave us a deeper insight into daily life in Nepal. We also had interesting discussions about Nepali politics and society, which made the experience feel very personal and meaningful.
Of course, the cooking itself was fantastic. The food was delicious, and we especially loved the momos — they were definitely our favorite! Learning how to make them from scratch was a lot of fun.
All in all, it was not just a cooking class, but a cultural and personal experience that we will remember for a long time. Highly recommended.
